I lived in Florida for about half of my life. Although you can motorcycle all year long in Florida, you don't have the awe factor of riding during the different seasons (yes even winter!). Here in Utah, it has been unusually warm for this time of the year, still in the high 80s and low 90s, but at 8,000+ feet elevation, the leaves have started to change to their spectacular
red,
orange and
yellow fall colors.
I left early enough to make the complete 300 mile loop through some of the highest roads in the state going up to 10,850 feet (according to GPS). Besides the few other bikes and about 200 cows, the streets were clear and incredible. Next week I plan on riding up to Sundance, where there is a huge Aspen Grove.

ReplyDeleteyou are lucky to have fall colours, here we only get yellow or green, no reds. Your roads are so tempting without traffic. I like Utah, perhaps we will get back there soon
